We had booked half board as we wanted to make use of the many tapas restaurants in the town for out lunches. Other amenities in the room that you would like all come at a cost. We found it cheaper to buy a sim card in the town with 25gb data for €10 and hotspot from that, which lasted the entire week.

The hotel free WiFi only lasts for 10 minutes at a time, otherwise, you have to pay €5 a day per device. I only know this because mine had a cigarette burn in it from the first until last day. The cleaning team come round daily, and will clean & restock bathroom items when needed, however, we noticed that, although they make the beds, the sheets are never changed. The walls, which have been, reviewed previously are very thin and pretty much everything can be heard through them. The amenities are basic but that is to be expected. The hotel rooms are adequate for what they are. The reviews were pre COVID and very mixed so we went in with open minds. The hotel in itself is fine for the attractive price per night. Myself, partner and 5 year old son stayed here for a week after our original hotel was swapped for htop Royal Star & Spar.

On the plus side charles the restaurant manager was nice and he organised cakes and a bottle of wine to be delivered to our hotel room for my wifes birthday. It has gone down hill, should be a 3 star and NOT a 4 star. Our beds had NO clean sheets put on them for at least 8 days until i started complaining about them. The bedrooms are still out dated and not modernised. Ive been going to the same hotel for 5 years but this year i was very disappointed. The bar then closes at 11pm yes i totally get that for alcohol but you should still be able to get soft drinks. For a 4 star hotel i would expect greater entertainment especially paying that kind of money. Alot of nights the entertainment staff would just come and put music on.
There was a lad just hitting a balloon around the room acting daft. This hotel is a 4 star however on my findings it should be down graded to a 3 star, mouldy peaches, the chicken skewers that i had was very gristly and disgusting dust in room, entertainment was like watching a circus act. I went to the Royal Star in Lloret de Mar.
